My fixed keel RL28
Hi everyone.
No replys from last post so have tried new heading.
I'm new to the world of RLs and have bought a fixed keel RL28 in Tassie but can't see any mention of other fixed keel 28s anywhere in the discussions. Are there many around?

Re: My fixed keel RL28
Paul.
Keith was right when he said there were very few fixed keel 28s, and none were factory fitted, there were a few in N.S.W. and I believe that one is currently cruising in Indonesian waters, but other than yours I know of no others in Tasmania.

I would be very interested to know the configuration of your keel, and a photo when you next slip your boat would be much appreciated.

Re: My fixed keel RL28
It's a real pleasure to hear from you Sir Rob..... (Next year for sure, awarded for the contribution to incredible fun to so many people)
I love the boat and spend as much time as possible on FANTACY.
She is reasonably well known on the club racing scene as a very quick little boat and the previous owner has a few trophys in his cabinet.
I will send photos as soon as I can.
She was fitted with a new 10hp Nanni diesel when I purchased her which is probably a little small for the fresh breezes of the Apple Isle.
Regards, Paul.
PS if you search "RL28 FANTACY" you will see her from when she was listed for sale
