Bay to Bay 2011 Flyer

This Flyer has the details on this year's Bay to Bay Race. It is held every year between Tin Can Bay and Hervey Bay, and this year is on the weekend of April 30th and May 1st. There is always a good crowd of RLs and everyone is welcome.

Bay to Bay RL Challenge Trophy

A great bonus for RL sailors in the Bay to Bay is the RL Challenge Trophy.   The trophy was hand crafted by Rob and to my mind is the Holy Grail for RL sailors.  It is awarded on PBH, so all you have to do is sail really really really well.

If Apaches crew posed less for photos and paid more attention to the kite............

Paul Harris (Steel Away) took this shot of Apache (left) and Hart Beat (right) not long after the day 2 start. These 2 RL's were 2nd and 3rd in the RL Challenge. I don't think anyone got close enough to Go For It to get a photo.
