Trailer repair advice wanted Manly, Qld
My RL24 has the original Tinka trailer with early holden wheels. Disc brakes were fitted quite some years ago but now need replacement. The boat is at Manly Qld. Can anyone recommend a trailer repairer in that area, or is this a job I could do myself? If so, where to get the parts? Any advice will be appreciated. Can be contacted by email or phone 0412 495 200. PS - boat is also for sale under Buy and Sell.

I used Brisbane Axles and Trailer Components at 294 New Cleveland Rd to replace the axle on my speed boat trailer - technically OK but not great at customer relations.

Thanks for the emails and calls. I ended up getting the parts and advice from Couple-Mate at 1/136 Glenora St Wynnum. They also have a very good website at www.couplemate.com.au - well worth a look.

I used Trailer repairs and spares (at Maroochydore). Ask for Dennis - 5443 9866. They were very helpful on the service front. I replaced all the running gear (coupling, suspension, brakes) other than the axle on a 30 year old trailer and got the tilt mechanism welded up to stiffen the whole drawbar area. Tows well at semi-legal speeds now.
