Replying to:Swing Keel Jamming
We are having trouble with our swing keel jamming in the recessed position in the keel casing. It seems to jam at the bottom of the casing because if we hit it past that point it releases freely. The keel moves down slowly if we jump on the floor enough times. The hull, casing and keel have all recently been repainted. Can this be fixed up with a waterproof lubricant or is work required on the casing ,ie sanding back and repainting.

Has anyone else had this problem and can you help with some suggestions.

Regards Bruce
