The starboard cockpit locker does have a box fitted which is to the depth of the cockpit floor and is bonded to under the seat just behind the hinge for the lid. In an extreme knockdown, the seat can be partially submerged filling the cockpit lockers so they need to be of limited volume, and they usually drain into the cockpit just above the floor. As cockpit lockers are invariably wet, the box should be made of fibreglass. Making the "L" shaped moulding for the box would not be difficult but sitting under the cockpit floor, bonding it up under the seat would not be a pleasant task. Unfortunately the moulding for the lids is not available.
