RL28 Crack in cabin floor
Hi
There is a crack in cabin floor between seat and just past keel casing on starboard side. Is there a void under this section to allow water to flow into bilge and not be structural damage or could it be major damage caused by the pressure of keel.
Thanks
Robbie

Re: RL28 Crack in cabin floor
Robbie.
Yes there is a void under that area and seeing that the interior moldings were installed as a complete single unit, then it must be concluded that an owner has at some time had reason to open it up around the keel case, and may be had not cleaned up that area around the break when glassing it back in.

Re: RL28 Crack in cabin floor
I agree with Rob.
That looks like a repair of some sort in the past.
OR
A home builder who didn't have a clean work area.
