Replying to:type of bolts on the original RL24 Mk3 trailer
I have an RL24 Mark 3 I believe, No 505. I need some new gal bolts for the trailer. The bolts are are used to adjust the roller height. I believe they bolts are 7/16 , 1 1/4inch long I can't tell whether the thread is UNC or BSW. Would anyone know? Does it matter? I was going to buy some from the USA. As I can't source any locally. One more question. I use the tipper action on the trailer to launch the boat but not to retrieve. The boat lines up really well without the tipper on retrieval. Is this the right thing to do? Regards, Robert
