    Article on 1977 RL24 Nationals

    I remember it like it was last week. I had my lunch on the wire in the long distance race and I remember Rob taking a jib back to the motel and hand sewing the luff in a section.

    It was Geronimo's first National and the first mk2. We couldn't stay with Barry and Ken early but we improved.

    Robs mate who designed the big cats, I think it was Lyndsay Cunningham, gave us a talk one night and it was the last Nationals on trapeze.
