Replying to:Anyone know anything about the RL15?
Saw an open dinghy style boat recently. It was being used as an outboard powered smooth water fishing boat but clearly was originally intended as a daysailer as it had a daggerboard style centreboard case, which had been sealed at the top. There was no sign of it ever having been rigged for sailing however, no mast step or chainplates etc. It was 15' [4.6m] long, all fibreglass and had a plate indicating the builder as Rob Legg Yachts. The owner believed it had been built by RL on the Gold Coast in 1990? Are there are any historians amongst RL owners who might know anything about this boat, whether it was a one off or if there are others?
