Replying to:Keel pin torque
I put my boat in the water for the first time and had a small leak at the keel attach bolt. About 3 gallons in 12 hours. My questions are: 1. After I clean this bolt and apply 5200 sealant, how tight should I torque the bolt? Is there a bushing inside the keel or is this just forcing the walls of the trunk up against the keel? 2. Does anyone have pictures of the repair for keel wobble using a plexiglass shim between the keel and the trunk?
