RL 24 MK 3 Head Location
From the experienced RL 24 MK 3 sailors... where is the best location to place a portable head, too large/high to place under the cabin step. I was thinking about the starboard quarter birth storage area taking away the cushion and fit into the cutout. Not very much space midship forward of the ice box and galley area because of swing keel casing/table. Also what is the best galley arrangement insofar as hand pump, sink, portable water supply jug and used water portable container/jug?

the loo
When cruising we kept it just below the companionway as a step for the kids. Elsewise we stored it in the V-berth..

RL MK III Headroom
Owen, I'm almost 6 ft. and the headroom is fine for cruising. Cabin hatch really helps to stand straight up. I just replaced the cabin interior hull lining with outdoor carpet and in process of renovating layout for more weekend cruising. Just have to learn it's not quite standing headroom. Good sailing,
