Replying to:RL24 Buoyancy Compartments - Foam Fill
My RL24 is normally moared at Bunbury, WA. I've found water in the front buoyancy compartment. I've identified a small split between the hull and the anchor well floor. I'm considering filling the buoyancy compartment with foam. I realise I'll see a small increase in weight on the bow. I was considering using the Thermoplastic Foam Industries block product, cutting the sheet to fit. Does anyone have a recommended foam? Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks Tim
