RL24 Buoyancy Compartments - Foam Fill
My RL24 is normally moared at Bunbury, WA. I've found water in the front buoyancy compartment. I've identified a small split between the hull and the anchor well floor. I'm considering filling the buoyancy compartment with foam. I realise I'll see a small increase in weight on the bow. I was considering using the Thermoplastic Foam Industries block product, cutting the sheet to fit.

Does anyone have a recommended foam? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks
Tim

Re: RL24 Buoyancy Compartments - Foam Fill
My RL24 came with beanbag balls in medium sized plastic bags stuffed into the buoyancy compartments. It provides buoyancy while allowing removal of the balls in the bags for airing and inspection.

It is cheap simple and works fine.
