Replying to:Main Sheet Roof traveller
Hi Guys. We have a Mk2 RL28 which has the main sheet running back into the cockpit. Some friends of ours also have a Mk2 but they have their main sheet coming back to the roof, similar to the Mk1's but with a special metal bar raising the traveller off the roof to clear the sliding hatch. I also notice a few of the Mk 2's in the photo section of this site also have the same set up. Is this bar an optional extra that can be purchased somewhere or have they all been fabricated by each individual boat owner? Are there any pro's and cons about switching to this method? Best regards Garry Beattie
