dodger
Hi folks... I've just bought an RL28 and want to have a dodger fitted
and also a furling headsail. I live on the Gold Coast, so would anyone know the best people to see for these jobs?... And roughly how much should I be paying?
Great boat by the way!... although I'll have to also buy a self stearing system as its almost impossible to leave the tiller when motoring or under sail for a second. Is this common?
Hope i see a few you out on the water sometime.
Chris.

Re: self steering
I have a small Autohelm and it is a great purchase especially in emergencies if you sail solo or with limited crew. Any centreboard or fin keeled boat will have little self tracking, but turn very quickly and easily.
