Drainage holes RL24
Things seem pretty quite here, so let a neophyte ask a dumb question.
What do the two drainage holes in the motor well drain? How does water get in there?
After the recent whale watching cruise, 7 days in the water, I had at least a cup drain from each when I got Here's Luck back onto the trailer. Should I be worried?

I have a manual bilge pump in the port cockpit storage which has never pumped anything even after extended cruises. Should I be worried?

Re: Drainage holes RL24
John,
Do these two holes in your engine well lead into the cockpit? In the rear of the cockpit of my RL24 Mk1 I have two 1" holes with clear plastic tubing in them (Self draining cockpit). These lead into the engine well and drain out below the hull.
As far as NOT finding any water to pump from the bilge I would say that is a good thing and not something to worry about.

Regards
